We have been lucky to have some PE sessions with the guys from Project Energize.

Last week we worked on large ball skills using games as a way to learn the skills.  We really enjoy this time as each session is something new.

City Gallery and Te Papa

We had a fantastic time at City Gallery and Te Papa last week.  We learnt about Maori Cultural art and then enjoyed exploring the new nature exhibit at Te Papa. While we were at the City Gallery we made our own screen prints of gourds with letters that symbolise something of our choice.  You can see them up close in the Learning Street before they go home at the end of term.

Special Treat Heading Home

Room 5 have been keeping busy preparing a Special Treat.  Room 5 have been busy making some special gifts for a special someone for Christmas. They have even decorated the wrapping paper themselves. Here are some of the wrapped up presents.
